Learn a clever trick for knitting socks! With this method, you purchase sock tubes, then add the heel and toe later by opening up your knitting. This is great for getting the perfect fit, using leftover yarn, or fixing worn-out socks. You'll learn where to place your stitches, how to pick them up, and how to close everything up smoothly. Plus, you'll never run out of yarn halfway through a heel again! This class is good for knitters who already know basic sock knitting.
Must know:
- Knit
- Purl
Skills Learned:

- Measure for heel placement
- Picking up stitches for the heel
- Knit the heel (learn decreases)
- Kitchener stitch

- Sock mini or contrast color of sock yarn if you desire a contrast heel or toe
